Daycare FAQ’s
For the safety of our doggy friends and the staff, all dogs are required to be approved via the induction process (see our “induction” section) and then are required to book over the phone/email. Please where possible allow 48 hours for bookings to be processed.
Due to limited availability all bookings are non-refundable, so please ensure when booking you are certain in your need for care. For more information please see our terms and conditions.
Of course! If you wish to look around before committing to join us, just fill out the induction request form to book your dogs induction with us, or send us an email and we will set up a date for you to visit with a member of our staff.
So when it’s really hot, we make sure there are lots of drinking stations with water, have watery games to keep cool and we have shady sheds dotted around outside if dogs don’t want to go into the main building, which has fans. In Winter months we have our undercover day care barn so dogs can do all their usual business but not get muddy or wet. In Winter we also have heaters and heat pads for extra snuggly warmth, and lots of cuddles of course!
No, here at Doggy Cool we accept all breeds, shapes and sizes as long as your dog has passed the induction process and gets along with the group, all welcome!
Yes, they are welcome to attend from 12 weeks old. Their days are structured to balance play and rest time because the puppies are still developing but they will benefit greatly from the socialisation and training exercises. All puppies will under go a tailored induction process.
Yes. Your dog will be under constant supervision by our team of experienced carers and will NEVER be left unattended.
First we will assess the situation and call you to discuss. If we can’t get hold of you and urgent medical attention is required, we will take your dog to your nominated veterinary practice or, depending on the circumstance, the nearest veterinary practice.
The only thing we require is their food, if they would normally be fed at lunchtime. All food must be provided in a sealed tupperware box with their name clearly displayed.
Rest and relaxation is a crucial part of a dog’s day and it’s no different at doggy daycare. At regular intervals, the dogs are able to snooze comfortably in our indoor area where they can relax on the raised dog beds or recharge in one of our “cool spots”. Outside, the dogs also enjoy chilling on our large training platform watching all the goings on or finding a playhouse to curl up in (often with a furry friend!).
