At DoggyCool Daycare, we value creating a positive first impression for your dog.
That’s why we have a structured two-hour induction session for their first day. During this time, your dog will acclimate to the group and we’ll ensure they are a safe addition to our daycare.
Safety is our top priority in maintaining a harmonious group setting. We assess temperaments to ensure compatibility and avoid any aggressive or harassing behaviors that could disrupt existing dogs’ experience.
Here's how an
induction works:
Prior to induction Ensure your dog has had the Kennel Cough Vaccination done already – this will either show as “Versican Plus BB or Virbac KC” on your dogs vaccination record. This is compulsory to have done before a Behavior Assessment Consultation can be booked!
Arrive on time with up-to-date vaccination records.
The session begins with a tour of our facility and an opportunity to ask questions. We schedule inductions at specific times to minimize disruption.
During the induction, we carefully introduce your dog to potential playmates based on the information provided.
Our team monitors their progress, builds a bond, and ensures positive interactions in their new environment.
Initial encounters can be challenging, so it helps to minimize your own anxieties to create a calm atmosphere for your dog.
If you plan to use our services while on holiday, the induction is included in the first day’s booking fee.
During the induction, we consider your dog’s behavior and response to new friends, play style, ability to understand signals, and their interaction with our team members.
These factors are continuously assessed to maintain a happy and harmonious group dynamic.
Once enrolled, you can use our online booking system to request future services. While we encourage familiarity with the platform, our team can assist you if needed.
